What’s a good anti-aging cream for someone in her late 20s?
Depending on the time of the month I can go from normal, to sensitive, to acne prone skin – so probably something that isn’t strictly about masking my face with moisture.
Should I be more interested in a night cream than a daily moisturizer that specializes in the anti-aging stuff?
Murad has a great line of anti-aging products. Especially there professional line. You can buy them online but they can be pricey. If you were makeup everyday then a night cream may suit you best. Sometimes using any type of moisturizer under makeup can break you out or cause an allergic reaction. Like you, I have searched for similar products. Unfortunately when you have sensitive skin it is hard to find something that works without buying every product on the shelf. If you can try the Murad, you can even get samples to try first. The Murad Immuno Age is what I use.
Also, other things you can do to prevent aging is stay out of the sun without a good sunscreen. This is the biggest cause of Wrinkles.
My new 100% cotton sheets wrinkle terribly from the dryer. Can I make my own wrinkle-release spray?
I have new queen-sized 100% cotton sheets that are beautiful but wrinkle really badly, They’re much too big to iron, particularly for a senior citizen like me.
A friend suggested a Downy wrinkle-release product but it’s very expensive. Someone else said she made her own wrinkle-release spray by combining fabric softener and water. Would that work? Does anybody know the formula?
Other than fabric spray, how can I get the wrinkles out of dryer-dried sheets without ironing them?
You can steam the wrinkles out in the dryer by putting a fully wet washcloth in the dryer with the sheets, and then take the sheets out the second they’re dry. It takes a little bit of practice to get it right, but it works and it’s free!
From now on when you dry your sheets, take them out as soon as they’re dry and fold them, and then you won’t have the Wrinkle problem. They’re wrinkling because they’re getting too hot and too dry.
Also, make sure you dry your sheets on the medium heat setting. If that’s too hot, switch to the low heat setting. Cotton can only take so much! Good luck.

To complete this How-To you will need:
Sunscreen
Lip balm with sunscreen
Sunglasses
Anti-wrinkle foods
Acai or goji juice
Green tea
Face cream with antioxidants
moisturizer
Red wine
Sunscreen with Mexoryl SX
Step 1: Prevent sun damage
Protect your skin from sun damage every single day, year-round, by wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF 15—including on your lips. And wear sunglasses to prevent squinting.
Tip: Look for sunscreen that contains Mexoryl SX, an ingredient that is more effective at blocking UVA rays than other compounds.
Step 2: Curb sweets
Cut down on sugar, which some dermatologists believe attaches itself to collagen, causing stiffness that leads to Wrinkles.
Step 3: Eat anti-wrinkle foods
Eat foods that have been linked to wrinkle prevention: beans, berries, almonds, apples, apricots, oily fish, spinach, sunflower seeds, sweet potatoes, cooked tomatoes, and watermelon.
Step 4: Drink from the fountain of youth
Try beverages that have been linked with smooth skin. Acai berry juice, goji berry juice, and green tea may inhibit wrinkles and help regenerate skin.
Tip: Aim for 4 oz. daily of goji or acai juice and one cup of green tea.
Step 5: Apply the right face cream
Apply a daily face cream containing the ingredient retinol, a form of vitamin A that boosts collagen, plus a few of the following antioxidants that prevent wrinkles by protecting skin against free-radical damage: vitamin E, coenzyme Q10, green tea, acai berry, caffeine, and selenium.
Tip: To make sure you’re getting the most anti-wrinkle bang for your buck, look for a cream that lists an antioxidant-containing nutrient as one of the first five ingredients.
Step 6: Moisturize before bed
Apply moisturizer just before you go to bed. Dehydrated skin creases more easily, leading to lines. To further minimize wrinkling, sleep on your back.
Step 7: Don’t smoke
Don’t smoke, and avoid second-hand smoke. Smoking depletes your skin of oxygen and essential nutrients like vitamin A. It also damages collagen and elastin fibers, which are key to maintaining elasticity.
Step 8: Limit booze
Limit alcohol intake. Alcohol dehydrates skin, leading to wrinkling. When you do drink, choose red wine, which offers antioxidants to offset alcohol’s negative impact.
