Other than regular botox injections or death at a young age, you cannot keep your skin from aging. It’s a natural process, and regardless of what you do or do not do to your skin, you cannot prevent what is to naturally occur.
Stop freaking out about it and just accept it. And perhaps your skin looks dull because it is becoming dried out from your cleansing and moisturizing routine, not because of aging. I’ve known plenty of girls still in their teens with dreadfully dull skin because they did not use products that offered enough hydration for their skin.
If you want to help keep your skin looking more youthful, then sure, add an anti-aging product. But keep it to night use, and don’t use a multitude of anti-aging products; stick to one. I am 19 years old, and I use an anti-aging moisturizer, but I use it for acne and acne scars, not for aging. It’s the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle cream, and use this as a night moisturizer along with tea tree gel over my entire face and calamine lotion on spots (conventional products don’t work well for my sensitive skin), and it has definitely helped even my skin tone out. Oh and, include sunscreen into your routine. If you barely get any sun exposure on most days, opt for a powder sunscreen or a regular powder with added SPF in it. I know that Jane Iredale makes a powder sunscreen, but it’s slightly expensive. Other brands make them as well though.

I’m 24 as well and getting to that point where I’m wondering what I need to start doing to keep my skin looking decent. I’m not too worried about aging, necessarily, but I just don’t want to look bad because I haven’t taken care of myself. The best thing I’ve done for my skin is to stop using harsh cleansers and toners with alcohol (yes, even Clinique) and instead use gentle cleansers and fragrance-free moisturizer with a heavier face cream at night. Any exfoliation I need is easily done with a washcloth.

You should use products with UV protection and skin treatment. This will help prevent wrinkles and dark circles over time.
I have been using skin care and anti-aging products from the same company for about 20 years. I buy it all online at http://www.searchmychoices.biz
People comment on how I don’t look my age and I can see the positive results.
Hope this helps
