Simple Face Care Tips for Dry Skin

So I use facial cleansers every day for a while now. My mom says my skin is getting worse and worse and suggests I use moisturizer (I didn’t listen to her because I HATE the sticky feeling of moisturizer). But now my skin is starting to dry up really badly. Any suggestions on which brand/line to use? Or alternatives to moisturizers?

washing your face with cleanser cleans it and strips it, which is good. but you have to put back what you take away from your skin. moisturizer does this.
